Trip to Northern Areas of Pakistan – A Customer’s Travelogue

Trip to Northern Areas of Pakistan

Pakistan is an all-year-round destination; you can visit the whole country throughout the year! But right now Northern areas are the most popular and recommended to visit. These are so stunning and easy to travel these days. So, the story began when one of our friends landed in Pakistan and asked to visit it. We decided to travel towards Northern areas and that was a sudden decision, It seemed a reluctant idea but as soon as another idea to travel via road came i.e., a journey full of adventures, it filled the zeal in everyone. Well, wanna know that are you also excited to go with us or by yourself? If you are going to travel to the northern areas, then the first thing that you have to do is put on your glasses, close the other tabs and immerse in this article. Promise it’s worthwhile and also leave you in love with traveling the Pakistani areas.

Let’s dive in!

Start of The Journey – Backpack for Travel Essentials

Many people tell you to wear something normal and others are of the opinion to have something trendy and out of routine to take pictures etc. Well, what we experienced is, while packing the bags, everyone threw everything out of their cupboards to find some warm clothes, jackets, and overcoats. But what if you find all of them in one place without even getting into the hassle of shopping? We bought some windbreakers, puffer jackets, and gloves from Lalaland.pk! And most interestingly they guys delivered all the essentials within the date because we were in a hurry.

It was the dawn of the first day of travel when we reached Islamabad and were looking much more trendy with Hueman t-shirts and casual joggers. Then had our delicious dinner. Our next target was Gilgit but before this, we loved the idea of getting some rest in the casual sleeping pajamas. Trust me, that feeling of pajamas was also no less than paradise!

Then after the breakfast in Islamabad, we left it. One thing to add is, “Lahori Nashta is incomparable” 😜. Well, we found the diesel parathas to eat and started our journey! 🚗

Amidst of Journey and Arrival to Gilgit!

We first stopped at Abbottabad and visited the farms. What a dream place it is located on a hill. I just wanted to stay there forever. Oh, that forever is not just a brand, it’s much more emotional than the brand name. Ah! But practically it’s not possible to live there ever after. Hahaha, did I start my dukhi story? Let’s skip it and move forward! Oh, I just forgot to tell you what did I wear there… It was the nice sleeveless puffer jacket, a beautiful top, and Jenna jeans.

Karakoram Highway is the road to Gilgit and believes me it’s not just a road. It’s a way where people make memories with snacks, songs, and winds coming from the car’s window. It was an emotional goodbye to Gilgit but who knew that something more captivating was waiting for us. It was a mesmerizing scene of the river from the car’s window and yes ultimately Hunza.

Hunza – A Heaven on Earth

Even I am unable to explain that feeling, it’s like raising the hands on the top and orchestra of the colorful mountains being played with the sounds of birds chirping and air stirring the ears. That day we got ready by wearing the softshell jacket, some casual jeans and chinos, and touch screen winter gloves because we had to take the selfies there! Reminder again “Don’t forget the touchscreen winter gloves”. The place worth mentioning is the Rakaposhi top where you can have a clear view of K2 and the top is sprinkled with white snow. Buddy, two historical forts Altit & Baltit waiting for you to visit to explore traditional Pakistan.

The Journey from Khunjrab Pass to Back Home

Khunjerab pass is the highest point where Pakistan’s border meets the china border and our soul meets the beloved nature. After almost a week of the whole tour, we decided to go back home with old gold songs and a lot of gossips! Gossips also include the places we have to visit in the future e.g., Kailash valley, Fairy meadows, and Ushu forest.

One thing worthwhile to add is thanks to Lalaland.pk because of them, we enjoyed our trip with more comfort and soft feeling. Don’t forget to take some touchscreen winter gloves, windbreaker, Softshell, and Puffer Jackets from them!

Hope you enjoyed our journey, would love to know about yours and also what you are going to wear on your next trip? 😜
